Testimonials

In their own words.

From university vice-chancellors and institutional investors to theatre boards and world-leading architects.

"We want to acknowledge what an incredible contribution you have made. We really can't thank you enough. Your skill and expertise, hard work and patience, political and financial prowess, legal leapfrogging, design and build skillset and intelligence, and all round talent are matched by your incredible good humour, people skills and charm. Thank you so much from us all at Mountview, we literally could not have done it without you."

Sarah Preece & Stephen Jamieson
Executive Director & Principal, Mountview Theatre Academy

"Vincent's expertise in real estate development proved invaluable to our working group. His extensive knowledge of mixed-use development projects and experience with development partnerships played a crucial role in evaluating potential partners and ensuring a successful candidate selection for this £1.7bn, 18 acres urban renewal project.

Vincent consistently demonstrated the following qualities throughout his involvement — strategic insight: he brought a strategic perspective to the table, understanding the long-term vision for the research innovation hub and its impact on the university and the city; evaluation skills: he played a key role in evaluating proposals, identifying the potential risks and opportunities of shortlisted candidates; collaborative spirit: he fostered a collaborative environment within the committee, helping ensure all perspectives were considered and decisions were made with a unified approach. Vincent's contribution significantly advanced the working group's work."

Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell
President & Vice-Chancellor, Manchester University

"In 2010 we asked Vincent to represent and advise the Donmar Warehouse theatre at the inception of the Dryden St development project. This was a complicated scheme that required very careful management and control, balancing the needs of the organisation with both the physical and financial constraints. This has been a hugely successful project and most importantly was delivered below budget. I am in no doubt Vincent's development expertise, leadership and collaborative approach with the professional team has been key to our success."

Peter Williams
Chairman, Donmar Property Board

"In all his work, Vincent understood our requirements, his advice was useful and appropriate, he communicated clearly and he was responsive to evolving situations. He displayed leadership, strategic understanding, attention to detail, reliability and integrity. We were delighted with Vincent's contribution and have no hesitation in recommending him as a highly effective real estate professional."

Dr Frank Billand
Executive Director, Union Investment Real Estate

"ITN [Independent Television News' HQ] was a seminal project for me: I went on to build the Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok airport, the biggest building in the world, but it wasn't as bold or as much of an achievement as ITN. That was a direct result of your clarity of vision, of what the project should be, being able to communicate that and drive it through the process, and being the glue that held it all together."

Grant Brooker
Senior Partner, Foster + Partners & Group 1 Design Director

"Vincent has a remarkable capacity for innovation and delivery. His formation of and direction at Corpnex was first class. Of its time the company was a leader in its field of 'seven star' serviced offices of which I was proud to have been an advisor as well as a user."

David Adams
Vistage Chairman

"I would like to express my thanks for the key role you have played in bringing Hampstead Theatre through what has been a very testing time; it seems to me that you have done this with great calm but with an unerring eye on the important issues which needed to be addressed. We shall all miss your wise counsel."

Cllr. Phil Turner
then Member, London Borough of Camden's Executive Committee

"…a magnificent achievement, too rare a phenomenon in this country — strategic thinking, thoroughness of investigation and pre-planning, a deep concern for upgrading a derelict environment and a patronage of good architecture and design."

The Challenge

Not what can be built. What should be built.

Successful development is not simply about building what can be built. It is about understanding what should be built, why it is needed, how it can create maximum value — and how it can be delivered with the least unnecessary cost and risk.

Property development inevitably involves significant financial, planning, technical and delivery risks. Without effective leadership, complexities go unresolved and escalate into cost and delay. Formulaic solutions based on historic practice are increasingly inadequate in a rapidly changing market.

The Approach

Three principles underpin every project.

Maximise development potential

Creating value starts with understanding what people actually need. Challenge conventional assumptions and find creative, commercially sound solutions that make the most of an opportunity and its long-term value.

Minimise cost and risk

Good design does not necessarily cost more — often, it costs less. Define requirements clearly, resolve complexity early and maintain disciplined oversight to avoid unnecessary cost, delay and risk, protecting the capital invested.

Work collaboratively, throughout

Successful development is a team effort. Bring together clients, investors, designers, consultants, contractors and users — providing the leadership needed to align diverse interests and keep projects moving.

The result: development projects that are more valuable, more cost-effective and better managed.

An architect by training, with construction industry experience and more than three decades in property development and senior management, Vincent brings together disciplines that are too often considered separately. He can become involved at any stage — as executive or non-executive director, consultant, development adviser, partner or entrepreneur.

How It Works

From opportunity to outcome.

Understand the opportunity → challenge assumptions → create value → control cost and risk → align the team → deliver.

  1. Confidential conversation

A no-obligation discussion of your project, its constraints and its ambitions — by phone or in person.

  2. Strategic review

Alternative scenarios, value optimisation and risk assessment — a clear-eyed view of what the opportunity can actually achieve.

  3. Lead delivery

Hands-on leadership in whatever structure the project requires — executive or non-executive director, adviser, consultant or partner — through to completion.

Discuss your project. No obligation, full discretion.

The earlier a conversation happens, the more value can be protected. One call is enough to establish whether there is a fit.
